The Consortium Council is the decision making body of the LISA Consortium, where representatives meet to discuss and vote on motions.

The Council is formed of the following core members: * Member Group representatives * Science Working Group representatives * Two co-chairs from each Working Group * The Spokesperson * The LST representative

Council representatives generally serve a 3 year term. Current rules mean there is roughly one Council representative for every 10 core members, making the Council a body of ~90 people.

The Council can create committees to carry out key tasks. These committees report to the Council.
